With our upcoming annual general meeting on September 26, 2025, PERT is looking to replace members on our Board of Directors. We are looking for dynamic individuals who want to improve employment and employability outcomes for Quebec’s English-speaking community!

If you have experience in employment service delivery, HR, as an employer, as a user of employment services, organizational development, fundraising and grant applications, entrepreneurship, in the business world, or in skills training and educational institutions, apply today and help the Provincial Employment Roundtable (PERT) increase its impact.

The mandate is generally 2 years. Board members can expect 6 two hour meetings a year and should plan for adidtional time to read documents and prepare ahead of the meetings. Meetings are typically on Zoom from 9 am to 11 am on the last Friday of every second month. There are additional opportunities for involvement in ad-hoc committees (nominating, strategic planning, HR etc...) which allow for further time contributions.

The deadline to apply is September 3, 2025.Β

PERT is a nonprofit organization that seeks to address the employability issues faced by English-speaking Quebecers primarily through policy research and stakeholder engagement. PERT values the contributions that individuals who identify as members of marginalized communities bring to our organization. We encourage, among others, Indigenous people, people of colour, people with disabilities, people identifying as LGBTQI2, women, formerly incarcerated or institutionalized people, immigrants and people from working class backgrounds to apply. We also understand that applicants may experience a number of these identities simultaneously in ways that reinforce and nuance their experience. We are committed to creating an organization as diverse as the communities we serve.

For any questions about the mandate, please contact our Director of Communications & Engagement, Chad Walcott, atΒ chad@pertquebec.ca.Β
