ML - Engineer II

The AI/ML team at Trajector builds and productionizes NLP solutions that extract and utilize relevant information from unstructured text and audio to build efficient business solutions. We are looking for an experienced Machine Learning Engineer who has a clear understanding of AI/ML lifecycle and can apply this knowledge to deliver quality, production-ready code.

• Competitive compensation ranging from $120,000 - $160,000 per year with total compensation ranging from $140,000 - $182,000.

• Develop and deploy production-grade AI/ML pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Data/AI and product management teams to define requirements.
• Monitor and maintain deployed models, improving accuracy and efficiency over time.
• Document model development processes, experiments, and key findings.
• Analyze data to uncover trends, design features, and optimize ML performance.
• Implement best practices for version control, testing, and reproducibility.
• Stay updated on the latest ML research and apply best practices in model development.

• 3-5 years in machine learning, data science, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills with experience in software engineering principles, preferably in Python.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and ML services.
• Solid understanding of ML algorithms and techniques to optimize and productionize them.
• Familiarity with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
• Effective communication and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Ability to take ownership of projects and work independently when needed.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, independent problem solving and time management skills.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience building and maintaining NLP solutions in AWS at scale.
