What we’re looking for


We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, customer-focused individual to join NCUK as an Applicant Support Officer - China.

This role is responsible for administration and daily conversion activities through various channels that support students' decision-making journey to university placement, with the aim of continuing to increase placement rates to NCUK universities. This is achieved by supporting students in finding the most suitable course for their academic profile and student experience needs.

What will you do?


The focus of this role will be split throughout the year, with a focus on conversion channels for approximately six months of the year and application support and processing for the other six months. This will bring variety to the role, allowing the successful candidate to establish skills in two areas.


The post holder will support the administration and processing of university applications throughout all stages of the student journey to university. You will validate documentation relating to the university application process and monitor the student journey pipeline. 


The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily delivery of conversion activities, both inbound and outbound, via phone, instant messaging, e-mail, SMS and other forms of communication to support enquirers and offer holders through their journey to enrolment. A large proportion of the post holder’s time will be responding to enquiries as well as making outbound communications to students, alongside processing student information.


What do you need?


To thrive in this role, you should be educated to the level of high school completion, SPTM/A-Level or local equivalent. You will also have demonstrable experience of working in a fast paced, commercial, customer-facing environment and experience of working towards achieving and exceeding sales targets. Experience and knowledge of International Higher Education would be highly desirable.
