To support the significant growth and development of the organization, we are seeking the expertise and capability of an Account Executive to join our dynamic team.

 

What you’ll do at HammerTech

The Account Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key decision makers in the construction industry, and closing high-value deals for our safety SaaS platform. This role requires a consultative selling approach, focusing on understanding the unique safety needs of large construction organizations and demonstrating how our solutions can improve their safety protocols and overall efficiency. 

 

The role also involves owning the relationship for a period of time post sale to insure proper handover, and from an account management perspective to ensure client satisfaction. Finally the role shall perform the day-to-day business activities that includes tasks ranging from reporting on sales activity, field marketing and being an integral part of growing the sales team.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Understanding the client’s sales requirements and to be seen as a trusted advisor, not a salesperson
  • Generating new sales through researching, identifying and creating opportunities, or through in-bound leads
  • Post sale handover (required) and account management (as needed) from existing clients
  • Project/Stakeholder management of clients during the “Sales” phase including status reporting to both internal management and clients
  • Daily and weekly updating of all relevant data to sales and administrative platforms
  • Other duties as required from time to time

Our ideal candidate will bring the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent commercial experience
  • Minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience in software sales 
  • Ability to learn HammerTech’s platform and functionality as it relates to the construction industry
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • In-depth understanding of the construction industry and its safety challenges
  • Experience with sales technology and platforms, preferably Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, Hubspot
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to go the extra mile to achieve targets
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior leaders and C-level executives
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills 
  • Strong organization and planning skills, attention to detail with company systems and requirements
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, can-do attitude
  • Capacity to manage competing priorities and meet agreed targets and timelines
  • Capacity to work effectively as part of a team
  • Flexibility of hours to meet operational requirements of the business
  • Comfortable with a hybrid work model, combining remote work with occasional office and in person presence as required by the business
  • Willing to travel domestically and internationally as required
