The Product Management Lead, a key role within our downstream marketing team, is responsible for driving the strategic and operational aspects of our product portfolio. This role is critical in ensuring the successful management of the product lifecycle, developing downstream product strategies, and supporting field sales to achieve business goals for the Benchtop Blood Analysis portfolio. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader with a strong background in product management, market analysis, and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee all stages of the product lifecycle, from introduction to end-of-life for the Benchtop Blood Analysis product portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Manage product transitions effectively to minimize disruption and maximize market opportunities.
  • Downstream Product Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to drive product adoption, growth, and profitability in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Provide market insights and competitive analysis to inform product positioning and messaging.
  • Product Roadmap and Improvements: Define and maintain a product roadmap aligned with business priorities and customer needs. Collaborate with R&D, product health team, and manufacturing to drive initiatives to enhance product quality, performance, and user experience.
  • Field Sales Support: Act as the primary point of contact for field sales teams, providing them with the necessary tools, training, and support to drive success. Address field inquiries and resolve product allocation challenges efficiently.
  • Sales Enablement Tools and Training: Develop and deliver comprehensive sales enablement materials, including presentations, brochures, and competitive positioning guides. Conduct product training sessions for sales teams to enhance product knowledge and selling capabilities.
  • Pricing and Optimization: Establish and optimize product pricing strategies to balance competitiveness and profitability. Provide post-launch pricing support, addressing market dynamics and customer feedback.
  • Post-Launch Support: Monitor product performance in the market and develop strategies to address challenges or capitalize on opportunities. Support issue resolution, ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in sciences, business management or a related field; An MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in product management, marketing, or a related role within the in-vitro diagnostic or healthcare industry.  Must possess extensive knowledge and proven experience in blood gas testing.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the POC testing market, including current trends, technologies, regulatory environment, and competitive landscape.
  • Skills: Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills; excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in market analysis, competitive positioning, and pricing strategies. Adept at working cross-functionally in a matrixed organization. Proven track record of managing complex product portfolios and driving business growth.
  • Travel: Ability to travel globally (approximately 20% or as required) to support business objectives

The annual base pay for this position is:

Min $119,600 - Max $179,400

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
