DSHS’s Home & Community Living Administration (HCLA) WCF is hiring key team members now to assist as we move toward the full implementation of the program. We are hiring multiple Social and Health Program Consultant 4 to help support the statewide implementation and ongoing operations of the WA Cares Fund Benefits and Customer Care (BCC) team. This position provides support, consultation, interpretation, training, and technology assistance to all supervisors and staff. This position coordinates, develops and documents WA Cares Fund procedures, quality assurance monitoring activities, and training activities. This position has significant input and responsibility for long range program planning and goal setting. The incumbent acts as a liaison between the BCC, regional and headquarters staff, and/or cross-agency partners, and represents the BCC on statewide committees providing consultation, training, planning and coordination, and policy input. This position requires exceptional amounts of development time to ensure the BCC is complying with department expectations, quality assurance, and policies related to implementation and ongoing management of the WA Cares Fund. This position works with providers and advocates in the community to educate and improve access and service delivery to clients.
