😊 Introduction
For generations, many of us were told that to succeed we had to leave our villages behind.
At Rooral, we believe the opposite may also be true: that by returning to rural life, even for a season, we rediscover presence, belonging and the wisdom of nature.
Every year, people from different corners of the world arrive as strangers and leave as part of something larger: a community woven between mountains, old traditions, shared meals, and deep conversations. The village, in turn, grows richer with every encounter.
To guide and hold this experience, we’re looking for someone who feels genuinely moved by this mission. Someone who doesn’t just want to manage a coliving. But who wants to be part of a pioneer story about social regeneration, bridging community and returning to what’s essential.
If you’re someone who is nourished by meaningful work, inspired by rural rhythms and excited to create bridges between people and places, we’d love for you to consider joining us.
🧑🏽🌾 Core Responsibilities (On-Site Season ~6 months/year)
- Full operations of the coliving (coordinating houses, maintenance, cleaning, supplies, set up).
- Manage, onboard and support Community Manager volunteers.
- Daily guest experience: onboarding, presence, event planing & facilitation, conflict mediation, and maintaining a healthy group climate.
- Harvest active relationships with the village and local institutions. Act as a “bridge-builder” between guests and locals to foster authentic connection.
- Document and improve processes, ensuring continuity across seasons.
💻 Off-Season Responsibilities (Remote ~6 months/year)
During the off-season, responsibilities focus on preparing the next season, supporting core operations remotely, and contributing based on the candidate’s strengths.
- Season preparation (suppliers, documentation, online onboardings…)
- Season evaluation (Impact, feedback, reporting, new processes…)
To be agreed with the team according to skills and needs (optional):
- Sales & Conversion.
- Marketing & Content creation
- Grant writing / European project applications.

🌳 Our Mission & Culture (Who Thrives Here)
Rooral is more than a coliving. We are a rural activation project that blends wellbeing, community and social impact.
We are looking for someone who:
- Feels genuinely excited about meaningful work and human connection.
- Is inspired by community, nature and purposeful living.
- Wants to build to a project that creates bridges between worlds: rural and urban, local and international.
- Is motivated by long-term contribution. Not short-term lifestyle experimentation.
We’re a project in progress, still shaping and learning as we go. Life here is full of movement and discovery. So you’ll thrive if you enjoy navigating uncertainty and helping bring ideas to life as they evolve.
This role is ideal for someone who vibrates with Rooral’s mission, even if their background in “rural activation” is indirect (wellbeing, community work, sustainability, social innovation, regenerative tourism, education, etc.).
We want someone who cares deeply. Someone who sees this as a meaningful chapter in their life, not a temporary gig.
