We are seeking enthusiastic, outcome-focused Support Coordinators / Psychosocial Recovery Coaches to join our team at TT Coordination, where we pride ourselves in #workthatmatters. As a Registered NDIS provider, we provide the scaffolding, coaching, and systems to help our clients achieve their goals.

About the Role:

Support Coordinator:

As a Support Coordinator, you will assist participants in:

  • Implementing their plans and increasing their capacity to manage/direct their own supports.

  • Exploring and connecting with their community and alternative support options.

  • Strengthening their informal support networks.

  • Maximizing the value for money they receive from their supports.

  • Accessing and using the NDIS Participant Portal.

  • Effectively communicating and maintaining relationships with the NDIA.

  • Supporting participants with funding for capacity building, particularly in finding and keeping a job. This includes assistance in employment preparation and placement.

Psychosocial Recovery Coach:

In the role of Psychosocial Recovery Coach, you will:


  • Develop recovery-focused relationships that promote participant engagement.

  • Support NDIS participants with recovery planning.

  • Coach participants to enhance recovery skills and personal capacity, including motivation, strengths, resilience, and decision-making.

  • Assist participants in engaging effectively with the NDIS.

The successful applicants will have a caseload of participants who have either support coordination or psychosocial recovery coaching funding. These positions offer work/life balance with the flexibility to work from home and adjustable hours to be completed on a full-time equivalent basis. Support Coordinators / Psychosocial Recovery Coaches will be mentored by dedicated managers who are experienced practitioners in the support coordination field.

Please note this role is an Independent Contractor position. Be your own boss! Manage your own time, tax, and super. Take leave when you want to.

About You:


  • Previous experience as a Support Coordinator or Psychosocial Recovery Coach.

  • Thorough knowledge of the NDIS.

  • Excellent negotiating and networking skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Proactive in generating your own clients.

  • Availability to start as soon as possible.

Required Qualities:


  • A passion for disability rights and supporting people.

  • Ability to work with individuals and families from a strength-based, culturally appropriate perspective.

  • Experience or exposure to the disability support sector and/or the NDIS.

  • Strong network in the sector and the community.

  • Excellent communication skills, active listening, and the ability to grow, coach, and inspire a team.

  • Exceptional organizational and administrative skills with proficiency in IT.

  • Demonstrated understanding of a person-centered approach.

  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and within a team.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage time efficiently.

  • Well-developed report writing skills.

  • Commitment to working within professional boundaries.

You Will Need:


  • 100 Points of identification.

  • A valid Driver's license and comprehensively insured motor vehicle.

  • Full Australian working rights.

  • Australia Business Number (ABN).

  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check.

  • Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance.

  • Copies of relevant course certification.

Qualifications:

Cert IV or Diploma in Case Management, Disability, Community Services, or a related field.
