Base Salary from $150,461 (pro-rata) + 17% superannuation
About the opportunity
The University of Sydney Susan Wakil School of Nursing and Midwifery (Sydney Nursing School) is the school of choice to nurture global citizens in health and wellbeing. We are seeking to appoint a Senior Research Fellow in Virtual Care. The researcher will work within a multi-disciplinary team, and work closely with health services, university and industry partners to understand how best to design and implement virtual care services in community settings including residential aged care homes and general practices. In addition to leading components of the work, undertaking data collection and analysis, the researcher will assist in the day-to-day management of an NHMRC and MRFF grant, supervise junior researchers, and assist in general tasks such as preparing future grant applications and supervision of PhD students.
About you
doctorate or PhD or academic qualification in Digital Health, Human Factors, Implementation Science or a related field
significant experience conducting impactful mixed-methods original research and engaging in scholarly activity, particularly as it relates to virtual care, residential aged care or general practice settings
significant experience in supervising and mentoring others
demonstrates a strong track record of effectively working in multi-disciplinary teams, including academic, industry and professional institutions, health partners, and other stakeholders
acknowledged at a national level as influential in expanding knowledge within their discipline, as evidenced by publications, grants, invited presentations, etc.
excellent project management and organizational skills.
