Summary: ATS is seeking a part time ASNT Level III RT (CR) for remote support of ATS Outage Department in Marietta, GA.  This is a contract work from home office opportunity (NO per diem) that starts immediately and should go until April 2025 reviewing digital images from a shared cloud location.  Periodical travel to customer location in Athens, GA possible, when needed.  Experience with ASME, welds and image quality review preferred.  Candidates commutable to Athens, GA preferred.


Qualifications

Responsibilities/Duties: ASNT RT Level III Technician



  • Meet the minimum requirements of a ASNT RT Level III Technician with CR endorsement; provide documentation of education, training, and experience in the applicable NDT method(s); have a working knowledge of industrial environments and general manufacturing processes; ability to effectively communicate with other departments, and customers to report issues and solve problems.

  • Daily responsibilities include: Reviewing of digital images of piping and welds as well as image quality reviews.

  • Familiar with VMI Software preferred.

  • Perform examinations of materials in accordance with procedures, codes, standards, and specifications.

  • Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the methods for which qualified.

  • Interface with department managers and clients to determine scope of work and work priorities in order to meet customer expectations. 

  • Experienced and fluent with Microsoft Office Suite of programs.

  • Work independently and support team members.  

  • Perform other job related tasks as needed and assigned by supervisors.


Work Conditions:



  • Most work to be conducted in a home office setting.

  • Travel would be required at 25% or less of the time, as required.

  • Must hold and maintain a valid Driver’s License.

  • Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.

  • Work in around operating equipment and industrial environments. 

  • All Applicants must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
