Our client, reputable in the insurance industry and based in South Western Ontario, is hiring a Sales & Marketing Manager to join their Leadership team.
The Sales Manager is primarily responsible for leading the Sales and Marketing Teams to support customer growth while delivering on the Company’s strategic plan.
We are seeking a dedicated people leader to manage the team including day-to-day operations, and who can review and recommend improvements to current department processes and structure.
In this role you will:
- Create and execute an ongoing strategic plan for the team to effectively develop and manage their assigned territory driving growth and profitability for the Company
- Collect and analyze information about customers, sales trends, products, and insurance services to develop future marketing plans

Support Marketing in the creation of annual marketing planning and recommendation

Provide leadership ,coaching and training to support the team in achieving their goals for the Company
- Manage and evaluate individual performance plans and help set goals and expectations including building team and individual sales objectives and KPIs
- Complete annual Performance Evaluations with their team including quarterly goal reviews and regular one-on-one meetings

Assist the Leadership team in developing, implementing, and supporting the Company’s Strategic Plan and specifically develops, implements, and supports a departmental plan that align

Build positive relationships with business partners and internal stakeholders

Remain well informed on industry knowledge, regulatory requirements and practices
Your Qualifications include:

Postsecondary education in a relevant discipline and/or Professional designation

Other Than Life (OTL) General Insurance Agent License (RIBO license is an asset)

Minimum of 3 years of people management experience

Experience in insurance sales and/or business development

Excellent presentation skills

Ability to adapt and implement change

Knowledge of insurance products and services (reinsurance an asset)

*This role is remote with weekly regional travel to branch offices
