Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Document Control Specialist to join our team in Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands! In this role, you will coordinate all tasks associated with document the FY18 Family Housing Project, ensuring adherence to quality standards, production schedules, and client satisfaction. You will collaborate with the client, manager production activities, and provide input and updates on the project.

*** The Document Control Specialist must relocate to Kwajalein Island, Marshall Islands. This position is not a remote opportunity.

Job Description:

  • Manage and oversee the preparation of all project-related documentation, including submittals, meeting minutes, contracts, RFIs and schedules.
  • Maintain organized and accurate records of all project documents.
  • Ensure timely submission of documents to meet project deadlines.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform well under pressure.
  • Deadline and detail-oriented, with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in proofreading documents for accuracy.
  • Working knowledge of various computer software systems including RMS contractor’s module.
  • Experience administering government contracts.
  • Demonstrates a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and management.
  • Has a proven track record of working effectively in high-pressure environments and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Possesses excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate smooth interactions with project stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Experience with the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) projects or a military/government entity in a related field is strongly desired.
  • College degree or equivalent additional experience, with at least one year experience as Submittal Clerk.
  • High school degree and 8 or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Prior experience with Sharepoint a plus.

Supervision Received - Document Control Supervisor; Project Manager
Supervision Given - Lower-level Document Control Coordinators (technical guidance only)
Internal Contacts - All Employees on Project; all Engineering disciplines
External Contacts - Client; Suppliers
