Role Overview
The Sr. Sales Executive’s primary responsibility is to establish new relationships and promote the Kasasa value proposition to targeted financial institutions in their respective territories with the objective of securing “win-win” contractual relationships for Kasasa products and services while embodying the Patch Values. The VP, Sr. Regional Director divides his/her time as follows: 80% - prospecting to drive leads, managing leads and opportunities effectively through the sales process, and ultimately contracting Kasasa products and services. 15% - administrative responsibilities such as Salesforce hygiene and ensuring effective handoff to Client Success and implementation teams. 5% - training of other Regional Directors, building sales tools and resources, and managing projects as assigned to improve overall Sales team performance. 
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Responsibilities) 
  • Infuse the Patch Values into your work ethic, every day and every interaction. 
  • Meet or exceed new business sales quota in assigned territory. 
  • Establish deep understanding of industry and products, including financial modelling, in order to promote and successfully sell Kasasa products and services.  
  • Self-generate in-territory leads through cold-calling, networking events, and other means. 
  • Timely lead conversion and follow-up.  
  • Procure, schedule, and conduct compelling face-to-face sales calls with an on-site first approach. 
  • Build and maintain pipeline of new business at established standards. 
  • Work collaboratively with other Kasasa departments to achieve desired results. 
  • Solicit leads from existing clients, establishing in territory relationships with cross functional teams. 
  • Detailed, timely SFDC/SalesLoft hygiene and tight adherence to sale process and playbook. 
  • Establish productive, face-to-face relationships with up to 80% travel. 
  • Embrace leadership on the sales team providing training and support to other Regional Directors.  
  • Other duties as assigned. 
 
POSITION REQUIREMENTS (Qualifications)  
  • 7+ years successful quota sales experience in the financial services industry. Tech experience is preferred, though not required. 
  • Demonstrate success and experience with: 
  • Self-generating territory leads.  
  • Collaborative cross functional relationships.  
  • Establishing trusting and leverageable relationships with C-level executives. 
  • Discovering buyer motivations and implementing “best action” account plans. 
  • Segmenting, targeting, and actively penetrating financial institutions. 
  • Networking with, establishing, and leveraging new and existing strategic alliance partner relationships. 
  • Delivering strategic, creative, and compelling presentations for retail banking solutions, including financial modelling.  
  • Proven individual traits and abilities that include: 
  • Advanced ability to drive engaging, persuasive public speaking in formal group and individual settings. 
  • Individual independence, self-motivation, and strong work ethic. 
  • Experience with MEDICC Sales Methodology preferred.  
  • Advanced compelling presentation, negotiation, and empathic listening skills. 
  • Discipline to set and accountability to reliably achieve goals and forecasts. 
  • Adaptability, creativity, a team orientation, and an entrepreneurial spirit. 
  • Leadership, coaching, advanced sales strategy, and creative thinking. 
  • This position requires at least 80% travel. 
  • Must be legally allowed to work in the U.S.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Ability to travel by air and car for extended periods of time. 
  • Sitting for extended periods of time; approximately 5-6 hours per day. 
  • Simultaneous use of hand, wrist and fingers. 
  • Daily operation of standard office equipment. 
  • Frequent use of oral communication to perform work. 
  • Lifts and moves up to 7-10 pounds occasionally.
