About the Position

Registered nurses are members of an interdisciplinary care team working as staff clinicians with OpenLoop. Responsibilities
Conduct outbound calls to patients who have been discharged from the hospital within a specified time frame.
Engage with patients in a courteous and empathetic manner, demonstrating sensitivity to their healthcare needs and concerns
STI Disclosure - 1) Communicating positive STI to patients 2) Coordinating referrals and treatments for these patients
Prior Authorization Management - Working with insurance providers to ensure prior authorization requirements are met
Patient Outreach 1) Be an essential part of the Freddie 11/10 patient experience by calling and messaging patients once they’ve received their prescription to check in 2) Responding to patient inquiries through our electronic health system (Healthie) secure chat feature and phone calls
Document survey responses accurately and thoroughly in the designated database or electronic medical record system.
Utilize effective communication skills to gather detailed information from patients about their care experience, including satisfaction with medical treatment, nursing care, and overall hospital experience.
Collaborate with healthcare providers, clinical leaders and other team members to follow up on any issues or discrepancies identified during the survey process.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling patient information.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to stay updated on survey protocols, healthcare regulations, and best practices.
Meet productivity targets and quality standards established by the organization.
Must have an Active and Unencumbered Compact Registered Nursing license and CA
This licensure MUST be reflected on current CV or provided upon application to be considered
MUST live in the state that which the Compact was granted to be considered
Must have Associate degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N): Registered Nurse (RN) license
At least 2+ years of clinical experience in settings such as acute care, home health, sexual health, or case management
REQUIRED: Experience working with members of LGBTQ2S+
: Spanish Speaking
REQUIRED: Experience working with gender and sexually diverse communities
Experience working from a trauma-informed lens
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to empathize with patients and effectively convey information
Above average proficiency in using telecommunication technology and electronic health record (EHR) systems
Commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Prior experience in patient care in hospital or telehealth setting
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work some nights and weekends a plus
Timely and professional
Telemedicine or virtual care experience a plus
This is a 1099, contract position
At minimum: 10 Hours weekly - more encouraged
Some weekend work is applicable
