To support this work, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Operations team.
What You’ll Do
As a part of the team, you will oversee four major projects: (1) an IT systems analysis and alignment project, (2) the development and implementation of cross functional Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Policies, (3) the IT update and refresh of its financial system, and (4) related change management, training, and documentation efforts. Major responsibilities include:

Reporting and Supervision
The Senior Project Manager reports to the Chief Operating Officer. This position will work closely with staff across multiple departments, including Operations, Forest Restoration, and Urban Forestry. This position does not have any direct reports at this time.
Working Conditions
This is a remote position, with preference given to candidates in Washington, D.C. Up to 5% of travel throughout the U.S. and/or to American Forests’ headquarters may be required.
This position requires the ability to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) for extended periods and to operate a computer and other office equipment. Compensation & Benefits
This is a full-time, salaried exempt position. The budget salary range is between $60,000 and $90,000. Our benefits package includes:
