OVERVIEW:
The Senior Director of Loan Operations provides Operational Leadership with a focus on departmental execution and performance management including but not limited to designing, developing, and implementing strategies and tactics to improve internal and external customer satisfaction, reducing processing times, and developing and delivering reporting, tracking, and measurement systems to ensure high quality and production results. This role directs the department staff and takes responsibility for all documentation preparation, validation, accuracy and timeliness of documentation for all loan types, as well as processing and servicing, account reconciliation and reporting functions, post-closing document review and imaging.
The Senior Director of Loan Operations is the Company’s loan documentation and closing technical expert, responsible for documentation review and overseeing the closing process for all loan and lease transactions to ensure the loan is closed in accordance with its approval; in the Company’s most complex and largest transactions, oversees document review and closing process with outside counsel. This role primarily focuses on commercial loans, while also overseeing consumer and specialty finance loans.
The Senior Director of Loan Operations enhances business unit and product-related activity by identifying, analyzing and recommending changes to procedures while using best business practices and precedents to resolve efficiency and operational problems. This role ensures conformity to corporate policy and compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements for all channels. Responsible for compliance with federal, state, and FDIC regulations and laws. This role is responsible for planning, organizing and directing the department's operations staff; including innovation, production planning and workflow analysis.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum 12-15 years of progressive experience in commercial loan processing and compliance
- 7+ years of management experience
- Strong knowledge of loan documentation and related laws and regulations – commercial and consumer
- Demonstrate high level of decision making skills.
- Demonstrate well developed verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to demonstrate innovation, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency with technology (software, systems, and equipment).
