The Internal Corporate Communications Associate is a critical position with a mission to drive employee engagement and to inform, inspire and connect our people. As a force multiplier, amplifying our voice to build a winning culture, this role will help our associates understand Unisys’ solutions, financial performance and corporate initiatives. These key initiatives will inform virtual meetings, associate messages, leadership messages, intranet articles, internal social media posts, and other communications needs as required. This role encompasses writing, editing, organizing, and managing communications projects as part of the corporate communications team.
Additionally, the Internal Corporate Communications Associate will optimize operational efficiencies through project management tools and collaboration technology. Keenly aware of details and deadlines, this role will care for the team’s editorial calendar to balance message timing, audience and context.
A storyteller at heart, the corporate communications team will look for you to bring new ideas and energy to our projects, along with a love for data and metrics. And, as a professional, you should bring your detail-oriented, project manager skills with a passion for organization and delivery excellence. You will take projects through the communications life cycle, from conception to execution, managing key stakeholder feedback along the way.
As the Internal Corporate Communications Associate, you will work closely and collaboratively with internal teams from across the enterprise to drive awareness for major corporate initiatives. You are part of the Marketing and Communications organization – a highly collaborative team of professionals who work closely with the business units and C-suite leaders to grow the reputation of Unisys and execute strategies that align to company goals.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
- 3 years of progressive experience in corporate communications
- Content creation know-how – stellar written and verbal communications skills as well as creative video and photography abilities
- Agency or journalism experience a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or journalism
- Creative concepting and storyboarding
- Knowledge of the current and evolving communications trends
- Experience successfully leading projects from ideation to completion
- Ability to effectively handle multiple projects and timelines
- Self-starter who can professionally initiate conversations with internal clients and leaders
- Experience with metrics reporting and outcomes analysis
- Strong attention to detail
Responsibilities include:
- Writing, editing, concepting, innovating communications solutions to inspire, inform and connect our people across a number of mediums
- Using technology or company tools to post, publish or distribute messages
- Gather metrics and create ongoing reports that show communications impact
- Track communications deliverables for corporate initiatives and campaigns
- Activating communications plans in support of company programs or corporate initiatives
