THE OPPORTUNITY
The Head of US Market Access and Patient Services will build and lead a team to develop and execute market access strategy in the US and support Amylyx in its next stage of growth. This person will play a central role in building the company’s success in the US.
We anticipate hiring the Head of Market Access and Patient Services in the first quarter of 2025.
In this leadership role, you will partner with cross functional product teams to lead the planning and execution of strategies across Market Access, Value & Strategy, Payer Marketing, Pricing, Reimbursement, Trade & Distribution, Patient Services, Payer Management, Health Policy, and Key Account Strategy. The role is responsible for building and leading the US Market Access and Patient Services function for all Amylyx products with a primary focus on establishing the US payer and reimbursement organization required to successfully launch Amylyx next commercial asset.
The Head of US Market Access and Patient Services is accountable for the overall market access launch plan for prescription products, including strategic pricing, payer reimbursement, payer contracting, formulary coverage as well as patient services design and implementation. The role is also responsible for building and managing the specialty distribution function. The role requires a self-starter who is highly driven, collaborative, and can lead with influence in a matrix organization. They should be an expert in US market access dynamics and reimbursement complexities. The role will play an integral role in shaping and building a fit for purpose U.S. market access organization to support future launches.
