Description

Axiom is an industry leading automotive product provider and administrator. We create, sell and service contracts and other products via our state-of-the-art facility and systems. Axiom is looking for a full-time Claims Payment Analyst to assist in the overall handling (reviewing, approving, and denying) of claims submitted by our customers.  Claims are received through a variety of sources (i.e., system, reports, manual reviews, fax, email, etc.). The ideal candidate will possess accounts payable experience, problem-solving and organizational skills, as well as a dedication to providing excellent customer service.

 Job Responsibilities



  • Review claims received in the claims fax/email box

  • Troubleshoot payment phone calls with auto repair service shops

  • Audit claims against policy guidelines to ensure all criteria are met prior to processing payment

  • Following up with claims adjudicator or repair shops to correct claims that need to be adjusted to follow Axiom guidelines

  • Set up check payment for claims that require manual payment

  • Will be responsible for paying several vendors (inspections, parts, claims, etc) utilizing alternative methods of payments appropriate to each situation

  • Assist Claims Department with payment questions


Qualifications



  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Excellent time management skills/organizational skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills

  • High attention to detail is required

  • Displays professionalism and a positive attitude

  • Ability to effectively communicate with managers and co-workers

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments


 


Preferred Qualifications



  • 1-2 years accounts payable experience
